A 5-carat diamond ring sits at the threshold where a stone stops being subtle and starts commanding the room. At this size, the cut you choose has a measurable visual effect — a 5-carat emerald cut reads roughly 11 × 8 mm, while a 5-carat round brilliant is closer to 11 mm across — and small differences in proportion or color grade become visible to the trained eye.

Every ring in this collection centers on a natural diamond between roughly 4.5 and 5.5 carats, GIA certified for color, clarity, cut, and origin. The collection includes both white stones (D-G color, Flawless to VS2 clarity) and fancy colors (yellow, pink, blue, green) at the same size threshold — the carat band where fancy color saturation becomes most pronounced on the hand.

Settings range from low solitaires to three-stone architectures with tapered baguettes or trapezoid sides, hand-fabricated in our New York atelier. Every ring is signed by David Rosenberg and accompanied by full GIA documentation.
